Located in the state of Pahang, Genting Highlands is one of the best places to visit in Malaysia. Both locals and tourists flock over every year to experience Genting’s mountain breeze and the many attractions it has to offer.

Genting SkyWorld is possibly Genting’s most renowned attraction as of now. The theme park opened in 2022 and it features over 26 rides and attractions. Each attraction is based on a theme from different movies such as Ice Age, Rio, Epic and many more.

2. Awana SkyWay

There are a couple of ways to get to SkyWorld but Awana SkyWay is undoubtedly the best. Awana SkyWay is a cable car ride that takes you across Genting’s 130 million year old rainforest and up into the mountains.

3. SkyAvenue Complex

SkyAvenue Complex is the first thing you’ll see at the end of your cable car ride. It’s also a transit point to SkyWorld. The mall is relatively new and there are over 100 outlets of international brands and restaurants.

The mall is huge and it’s also one of the highest in Malaysia!

4. Chin Swee Caves Temple

Chin Swee Caves Temple is a Taoist temple that was constructed in light of Chin Swee, a religious figure. The temple is located on top of a rocky hill that overlooks the lush greenery of Genting’s forest.

The architecture of the building is a sight to behold as it is filled with cool statues and carvings. You can get there by cable car through Awana SkyWay.
